THE TAYLORS

Gordon and Carri have been married since February 1986. Both were previously married; Gordon for 18 years, and Carri for 13 ½ years. Gordon brought three sons to the marriage and Carri brought two daughters. They now have ten grandchildren, and were legal guardians of Carri's oldest granddaughter, born in 1990, who has been with them since birth.
The Taylors have been involved in starting, leading, and maintaining stepfamily groups since 1988. They speak nationally on stepfamily development and other relational topics. They have experience speaking to conferences, churches, businesses, large and small groups, as well as conducting trainings for both the public and private sectors. GORDON

Co-Founder of Opportunities Unlimited and a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (M.F.T.), Gordon established his practice in California for 13 years before moving to Oklahoma where he practices in Edmond (Oklahoma City area). He has Masters Degrees in Education and Marriage and Family Therapy. He has been a Consultant for the California State Dept. of Education and has over 32 years experience as a (Teacher, Coach and Public School District Administrator.

Gordon's understanding and respect for people from all walks of life can be attributed to his experiences in both the public and private sectors. He uses counseling tools that are pragmatic and productive to help each person become the very best they can be. He is recognized for his personal expertise with stepcouples and stepfamily dynamics. (Conflictual marriages / male issues)
Gordon is a clinical member of the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists (CAMFT), and the American Association of Christian Counselors (AACC).

CARRI

Executive Director and Co-Founder of Opportunities Unlimited, Carri is a Certified Communication Skills Trainer (since 1993) and Executive/Personal Coach (since 1995).
Carri has guided hundreds of individuals, couples and corporate teams through the process of gaining insights and new awareness of self and others; while being given practical, ready-to-use and proven tools to enhance all of their relationships. After working with Carri, her clients are energized, motivated and equipped to meet life’s challenges in a new and more effective way.

As a public speaker, her expertise comes from her wealth of professional training and life experience. She illustrates insights with personal transparency.
Since 1978, Carri has produced, directed and edited award-winning documentaries. Carri was Vice President and Co-Owner of NEW LIBERTY ENTERPRISES, Inc., Burbank, CA, from 1979 to 1981. She served as President and sole-owner from 1981 to 1991.
